Cheshire Rooflines started the way most good trade businesses do: doing the job properly for one street, then the next one, and letting that do the advertising.
Today we are a small, directly-employed team covering pitched roofing, flat roofing, chimney work and rooflines across Cheshire. We have deliberately not grown into a firm that sells work in one county and subcontracts it in another. The person who quotes your job is the person who turns up to do it.
What we are trying to be good at
Roofing has a trust problem, and it is not unearned. The customer cannot see the work, cannot assess the materials, and will not find out whether it was done properly for several winters. That gap is where the industry's worst habits live.
Everything about how we work is an attempt to close it. Photographs before prices. Written, itemised quotes you can compare. Honest advice about repairing rather than replacing, even when replacing pays better. And a guarantee from a company that will still be at the same number in ten years.
How we work

You see what we see
Every inspection comes back with photographs: the loft, the slates, the flashings, the gutters. You get the evidence before you get the price, and you get it whether you go ahead or not.
The price is the price
Quotes are fixed and itemised, with access and clearance included. The only thing that changes a price mid-job is something genuinely hidden, like rotten rafters under a covering, and you approve it in writing before we touch it.
We finish the job
Site swept, skip gone, gutters cleared, guarantee handed over. Then a call a week later to check there are no surprises. A roof is not done when the scaffold comes down.
